CII_SESSION_ON_PRESENTATION_SKILLS
On
the occasion of global entrepreneurship week, Young Indians-CII in
collaboration with GITAM Institute Of Management conducted a vibrant session on
“Presentation Skills” on 17th November,2015.
The
session started with an interesting video on ‘Journey of an organization’ made
by the team of Young Indians-CII. Chairperson of Young Indians-CII, Mr. Rana
Pratap Uppalapati had an interactive session with the students of MBA first
year of GITAM Institute of Management. He described the requirements for an
effective presentation. He said that an idea should not be introduced right in
the beginning and spoke about 3R’s (Reason-Reinvent-Refine). He stressed that a
working folder is very important during preparation of any presentation,
delivery should be planned and one should always know the audience. He spoke
about 3C’s (Communicate-Connect-Correct). He also gave a brief description
about how to design and how to deliver the presentation. He highlighted that at
the end one should always read, rehearse, revise, relate and repeat the
presentation made.
