Suffer?_poem_by_Ruth_Irani
The silence that cuts the Heart and;
The ignorance that breaks it into
ashes.
A Heart that started out with
novelty;
Ends on a road of perplexity.
The Heart made its faults;
Expecting more than it saw.
Now the Heart lies crushed,
Ashamed, yet pushing its way out.
Out of the pit it fell into;
How is the Heart to blame itself?
When all it wanted was novelty down
its way.
You gave a reason when I said; I
spoke!
But all you did was look at your
cause.
My words, my emotions overlooked.
Unheard.
Was the Heart pumping its blood
faster than it should?
Was it trying to live all its life –
while she intrude?
