The teaching methodology was fully case based.  Cases and supplementary readings/text book(s) were distributed to the participants prior to the class.  Participants need to read the cases and supplements before the class and participate in the classroom discussion.  For this process the class members were divided into study groups.  Each group had 6 to 7 members.  The group members were required to read and discuss the case before coming to the class and submit the assignments if assigned.
Case writing:
This was one of the key activities in the programme.  Participants had to form four member groups voluntarily.  The group members had to identify the occurrence to develop a case.  They frequently visited the field and gathered information about the organization and occurrence.  Based on the primary and secondary information, group members had to develop a case.  Before that the group members had to specify the target group/class for the case.
Learning:
Every participant had to involve in Individual presentations, group presentations, case writing, preparation of research intent and teaching notes for the case.  This programme provided a platform to the participants on how to deal with and discuss a case study in the class room, how to assign a task (situation based) to the students and non-lecture methods.
Industrial visit:
One industrial visit was organized during the programme.  The field visit to Amul (Anand Milk Union Limited) was a real time experience.  Participants witnessed the process of collection of milk from the farmers, how the collected milk was delivered to the manufacturing unit and how the milk was processed and packed.
